Open Access and Article Processing Charge (APC)
Cambodian Journal of Education, Management, and Development (CJEMD) is fully open-access. Open access increases the readership, visibility, and impact of research articles. The Research Office of the Royal University of Phnom Penh covers the editorial and operational costs of the journal.
Authors are required to pay an Article Processing Charge (APC) of US$ 100 to cover English copy editing, formatting, DOI assignment, website maintenance, and indexing requests.
Payment Instructions for Journal Article Processing Charges:
- Payment for the article will be required only after acceptance of the manuscript.
- Upon acceptance, the corresponding author will receive an Acceptance Email containing the payment account details and further instructions.
- Please do not make any payments until you receive the official acceptance notification and account information.
- Timely payment after acceptance is necessary to initiate the publication process.

Authors may apply for the RUPP-Outstanding Paper Award (UPA) from the Research Office of the Royal University of Phnom Penh (RUPP) to cover the APC. All authors are eligible but must commit to paying the APC if the award is not granted.
Selection Criteria for the RUPP-Outstanding Paper Award (UPA):
- Originality and presentation of unpublished research
- Solid empirical or theoretical foundation
- Practical implementation of development projects
- Findings with national, regional, or international significance
- Logical flow and organization
- Clear and accurate facts and details
- Effective data presentation and analysis
- Clarity in results and discussion
- Compliance with ethical standards
